The project integrates scientific research, territorial planning and implementation of field interventions. Forest Lab&#8217;s scientific contribution focuses particularly on defining territorial priorities for afforestation and restoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project combines thematic mapping and multicriteria analysis of ecological connectivity, fragmentation, protected areas, existing forests, wildfire, tree-cover loss, hydrogeological risk, mobility networks and climate conditions to identify areas where interventions can deliver the greatest ecological and social benefits.
