The project aims to restore approximately 485 hectares of Annex I habitats under the Habitats Directive across eight Natura 2000 sites in Lombardy and Piedmont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actions include controlling invasive alien species, restoring native oak-dominated forests, mapping climate vulnerability, selecting resilient forest reproductive material and developing adaptive silvicultural protocols.
