GOCCIA addresses the regeneration of the former industrial area of Bovisa and the conservation and enhancement of Bosco La Goccia, a spontaneous urban forest that developed on contaminated land. The project integrates remediation, nature-based solutions, biodiversity, research and participation.

ForestLab focuses on the mechanical stability and resilience of the woodland. The study combines ForestGALES modelling, tree-pulling tests, tree inventories and observed windthrow to assess wind vulnerability and the influence of soil conditions and surface sealing on tree stability.
