ForestLab contributes to the preparation of the new Lombardy Regional Forest Programme, the strategic instrument defining objectives and actions for forests, the forestry sector and related value chains in accordance with Italy’s National Forest Strategy.

Activities include analyses of forest conditions and transformations, climate scenarios, artificial and newly established forests, urban forests, old-growth forests, invasive species and disturbances. The work also supports objectives, actions, monitoring indicators and technical documentation for strategic environmental and Natura 2000 assessments.
